What a way to finish the season 🤍

Our End of Season Awards Night last Friday, May 8th, was a massive success and the perfect way to celebrate everything this team has achieved throughout the year.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, to every player who represented the club this season, and to all of our volunteers and coaches for the time, effort and commitment they gave all year long. Thank you also to Director of Sport, for joining us on the night and for the continued support shown to our club.

Congratulations to all of our award winners !! Every award was so well deserved after an incredible season for the squad.

A special thank you as well to the for hosting such a brilliant night for us.

That’s a wrap on the 2025/26 season. Thank you for all the memories, the laughs, and the moments shared both on and off the pitch. Goodbye for now, and we can’t wait to do it all again next season 🤍

The perfect ending to our 2025/26 season. A game that had everything, decided right at the end, every training session, every tough match, every setback all led to that moment.

So much work has gone in all season, and to finish it like that just means everything. Every single player gave it their all, the fight, composure, and togetherness out there says everything about this group 🤍

Thank you to our coaches for pushing us and backing us every step of the way, and to all our volunteers, umpires, officials and committees who keep everything going behind the scenes.

To everyone who supported us all season ( especially in those final moments) we heard you, and you made all the difference , we cannot thank you enough 💫

Connacht Senior Cup Final 🏑

Last game of the season and a proper way to finish it, a cup final with everything on the line. A lot of work has gone in all year to get here, and now it all comes down to one last performance together.

It’s been a full squad effort from start to finish, and whatever happens at 4PM, we’ve already built something to be proud of this season.

A big thank you to everyone who has been part of the season and supported us along the way:
🤝 All the umpires who’ve overseen our games

💚Hockey Ireland and Connacht Hockey for their organisation and structure throughout the year

🌺 The University of Galway for their continued support

🫶Our coach, Damien Kelly and manager John Folan for the time and effort behind the scenes they’ve put in

🏋️Our S&C coach Sean Murphy , for putting up with us all season and always pushing us to be our best selves

💞 And of course our amazing volunteers who keep everything running week in and week out, we couldn’t do it without ye !

We’d really appreciate any support down at 4PM for the final, it means a lot to the squad !!

Finally, a massive thank you to every single player in the squad for their commitment all season, for showing up, putting in the work at training, supporting each other, and sticking together through every challenge and every result along the way. It’s been a full group effort from the very start.

We’ve achieved so much this season, from strong performances, big wins, and tough battles, to growing as a group and stepping up in key moments when it mattered most. Every player has contributed to that in their own way, and it’s something to be really proud of.

This weekend marks a goodbye for now , not a goodbye forever, just the end of this chapter together.

🫶 our 1s face at 2:30pm on Saturday the 11th in Dangan !! And on Sunday they face at 5pm in the Connacht senior cup semi final 🫶

💞 our 2nds face at 3pm on Sunday the 12th and our 3rds face at 11am on Sunday 💞

🤟 Any and all supporters would be greatly appreciated for any of the teams in action this weekend ! We welcome anyone up to dangan and it would extremely appreciated by all the girls , management and coaches🤟

🎉 Tomorrow is the big night the University Of Galway Sports Awards! 🏆 We couldn’t be prouder of all the incredible nominees this year, and it’s amazing to see so much hard work and dedication, being recognised.

A huge congratulations to our hockey club for being nominated for Event of the Year with our award night! A celebration that truly brought everyone together 💞🏅
