MATCH REPORT WOL LADIES 27.09.27🦁

What a game from the girls in our first-ever Leinster League Division 5 match, coming away with a brilliant 39–17 win!

From the very first whistle, every player gave absolutely everything. We had girls stepping into new positions, new combinations across the pitch and were facing a team we’d never played before — but everyone rose to the challenge.

Our lineouts were exceptional we dominated the scrums and the work rate, support and determination across the whole team were incredible.

🏆 Forward of the Match: Róisín - an outstanding performance and a massive presence throughout the game.

🏆 Back of the Match: Nicole — another unreal performance, with some exceptional runs and plenty of tries to show for it!

🌟 A huge shoutout to Fiadh who made her debut today and topped it off by scoring her first try What a way to start!

Our captain Siobhán also powered her way over the line for a well-deserved try — with a little help getting her there from Roisin
But today was about the whole team! Every tackle, carry, scrum, lineout and bit of support for each other added up to a performance we can all be seriously proud of.

39–17. Five points on the board. And a fantastic start to Division 5.

We’ll keep bringing the same determination, strength, grit and absolute madness that has carried this group since last season

So proud of these girls — and if today is anything to go by, we’re in for one savage season. 🦁❤️

Division 5… we’ve arrived. 💪🔥
