This is not a general Random Karate Club this is a KISSAKI-KAI KARATE-DO: CLUB.. All about Rediscovering the Fighting Function of Karate (and its Forms). Karate has long been considered a practical and effective form of unarmed self-defense. However the sad truth is that most of the karate practiced today is so misguided, so diluted and so ritualistic, that it can get you killed in a real fight.
Fortunately not all of karate's original combat value has been lost, due to various factors (it was watered down and its credibility has suffered as a result) ........We take it back to it's original practical purpose and effectiveness ..... '
Sensei Vince Morris has spent decades analysing karate kata (forms) and cross-referencing their movements with his extensive knowledge of kyusho-jutsu (pressure-point striking) and the "Rules of Combat", which apply to all unscored, un-supervised or un-refereed violent confrontations. The result is Kissaki-Kai a branch of Karate dedicated exclusively to the real combat applications of traditional karate technique. The principles of Kissaki Kai can be applied to any martial art to enhance its effectiveness. Club Primary Instructor is
