Meet Damien, father of 3 & busy professional.

"Im 40, I've booked a holiday and I finally want to be in the shape of my life, but I cant spend all day in the gym".

"I turned 40 last September and having been in gyms for nearly twenty years decided it was time for a change. I've known Larry for quite a while outside of the group so I picked up the phone and off we went. I started 1:1 last September with a simple goal of getting in shape and understanding food".

"I've a fairly busy life as a partner in a law firm working 50-55 hours per week and also have a great wife and three amazing little ladies 7,4 and 19 months to spend as much time as possible with".

"The main reason this coach worked for me is because theres no fads or restrictions on food. You make your own adult decision with his guidance and the fact is I'm eating more variants of food now than ever before. Anyone on here knows the importance of Vitamin N but for me I had to actually learn that. Oh and the programmes are awesome".

More hippy s**t....my hip extensors to be exact.

Banded block pulls 140kg at the bottom, with doubled green bands , a millionty kgs at the top.

While I’m exaggerating the bracing between each , i done so on purpose, you’ll see so many trying to do so but not really achieving anything in the process.
-
Im visualising from my head to my toes a chain , one made of tiny little links , I want each and every single one of them “tight ” before I pull each rep. Zero slack is allowed.

I’ll literally say that in my mind between reps, “head to toe” to reinforce it.

You’ll see my shoulders shrug down, im thinking of driving them into my ass pockets , sitting onto my hamstrings and driving through the floor. I’ll often use the “bra strap” (if your a 👩🏼 you’ll have put one on, if your a 🧔🏻 chances are you’ve tried to take one off so you know where that is 😉, it’s easy to remember) as a visual cue on back training , were bypassing that and going straight to your ass this time 😉🍑.

For me my over all experience so far has been great. I love the fact if I ask a question it doesn't just get answered your self and Kate go in to great detail with everything.

I have also learned more about building a healthy relationshipship with food ,carbs especially. I think the insta page is brilliant,seeing everyone's results keeps me motivated.

After competing in powerlifting for the past 5 years or so I told my self I had to put on weight to get strong which resulted in some strength gains and a whole lot of fat gains..after a chat with Larry about my health I decided to jump on the affiliate team.(I say team because there is so much support from Larry Kate and the rest of the affiliates).

Best decision I've made in years.just from learning about foods rather than being told don't eat certain foods iv lost a huge 11.5kg in 12 weeks but push the weight loss to one side my over all health is vastly improving.,sleeping better much more energy driving for a living I was only doing 2-4k steps a day I now hit 10 -14k a day not because I have to but because I want too.

If any one is on the side line it will be the best decision you will make,Larry and Kate give you the tools and allow you to progress at your own pace.no pressure just help.

I get it.

Its confusing as f**k.

What toothpaste to pick.

Colgate has 55 different toothpastes available on the Irish and UK market.

That's just one provider....one of many.

Each and everyone of their products do the samething when it boils down to it....clean your teeth.

Very much so like the fitness industry, there has never been so many products , options and information available in the health space as there is right now.

So it should be easier right?

Yet you are more confused and getting more frustrated.

That mental overload of what exercise , how many reps, what diet, that foods good, that foods bad.

You end up with paralysis.

Fear and worry over doing it "wrong".

The goal from our Affiliate programme is to remove that fear....and allow you to get on with things, because let's be straight , just like oral hygiene, you want to make it effective , simple and get results , "give me minty fresh breath and pearly whites".

We dont have the time or the desire to dedicate to overthinking staring into the abyss in the supermarket aisles.

You want more results and less stress, and more time back for life outside of the gym and kitchen.

It's far less complicated than you are making it right now.

There's no secret, no magic, no pill or potion.

Peel it back , remove the fillers & bu****it, along with the added stress you've pilled on top for no good reason.

You'll progress far faster than you ever have.

You don't need , a meme/quote or .

You know exactly what to do already.

What's the best exercise/programme for fatloss?

I was asked this over the weekend, my response, "it doesnt matter what you do, provided you actually enjoy it".

If you truly hate back squatting, or deadlifting DONT DO THEM, if you prefer dancing in a hoolahoop go wild and shake your b***y, there is no one exercise you HAVE to do.

The greatest programme is the one you'll enjoy the most and put the most effort into (or my affiliate, that's a real close second lol ). The one you enjoy the most is the one you'll stick to the longest, and most importantly actually have fun doing.

Chances are , if training is adherent, food follows too.......consistent food and training hey presto, results.

I'm not saying to go skip legs and have chest day every day or vice versa, but play with your programming to factor in some actual enjoyment in your sessions.

Remove some of junk that doesnt set your world on fire , and see what happens. Chances are your training mojo jumps up a few notches.

I've composed an extensive list of things you are entitled to.....

Want a result, the new job, the bigger house, fancy car.....
Do the work, repeatedly, there is no handouts, you aren't due anything.
It's a simple yet brutally effective formula.

Just under 6 months in between both shots here for from when Grace started coaching with myself.

We started back in October, Grace dropped it on me in January that she wanted to do the spring shows, leaving 15 weeks to pull this off. •
I made it pretty clear that it may not happen, as we weren't in the best starting position, but one thing I had known and picked up with Grace is that she is a worker and willing to do what it takes.

It may sound like we had to take drastic measures to get there , far from it , fully natural btw,(as all bikini competitors should be) Cals only dropped by 4-500 and output increased from 3 to 5 cardio sessions both gradually not immediately. There was no "peak week" , loading or any "magic" in the final stages.

The biggest difference maker here was Graces strength , never letting a rep slide and focusing on getting as strong as she could. 3 weeks out still hitting PB's on all working sets.
100kg back squats & 135kg sumo deads.

Incredibly proud of this young lady, as theres far more than just the exterior transforming. Couple more weeks to the 2nd outing and we'll go again.

Awesome work Grace.

I'm actually supposed to be in the States on a course in Pittsburgh , which I cancelled, and another course in Birmingham , which I also cancelled.

We've spend the last 4 weekends on the road, different beds/hotels, playing catch up after the bank holiday , and generally rushing about , while managing everything else and much more behind the scenes (watch this space 😎), March & April have been basically a blur.

So I pulled the plug on it all, cancelled trips, events, and I'm gonna mostly be sitting in my old man chair, might even pull out the Xbox and shoot some zombies.

Im fully ok with switching off, it hasn't always been the case, I honestly would of struggled with the idea...

I mean theres ALWAYS stuff to do, programmes to write, mails to send, questions to respond to , content to create, talks to compose

I'm also not training this weekend either, might not even get many steps in, this storm thats brewing up might be a blessing in a blustery disguise.
