Enniscorthy Golf Club, founded in 1907, is one of Ireland’s most competitively successful clubs and definitely the Club to be a member of if you’re interested in continuing to participate in competitive sport and maybe collect a Provincial or All-Ireland title or two! Club teams won both the Barton Cup and Provincial Towns’ Challenge Cup in 2017, in addition to numerous Provincial titles and 5 All

-Ireland titles since winning the Irish Mixed Foursomes in 2006. The wonderfully manicured, Eddie Hackett designed parkland course has superb, tree lined fairways with the Blackstairs Mountains as a backdrop. The 18 holes course is playable in less than four hours by golfers of all abilities, while the great finishing holes provide a challenge to the more experienced golfer. It is, without doubt, one of the best courses in the region. The Club’s on-site Golf Professional, Stephen Fitzpatrick, runs a well stocked pro-shop and oversees the members’ practice facilities, which include driving range, 2 putting greens, chipping, pitching and bunkers area. He also runs Junior Coaching Camps while Junior coaching is also provided every Wednesday morning during the Summer. Potential new members can participate in “Get into Golf” programmes, which allow participants to try out the game, avail of coaching, meet members and enjoy the facilities before committing to any of the membership options. There’s no better sport than golf and no better place than Enniscorthy Golf Club to meet new people and form lasting friendships.

Best of Luck to Ruairí in the Italian Under 16s Boys Championship in Biella, Italy

☘️ Play is underway on the opening day of the Italian U16 Boys' Championship in Biella 🇮🇹

Our eight-strong squad includes Dylan Cavazza (Greystones Golf Club), Ruairi Cooper (Enniscorthy Golf Club), Henry Campbell (Holywood Golf Club), Justin Dennehy (Douglas Golf Club), Ollie McEvoy (Ballycastle Golf Club), John Moran (Portmarnock Golf Club Est 1894), Sean Nolan (Dun Laoghaire Golf Club) and Ruben Rivas McHugh (Tralee Golf Links).

The championship features one round of Stroke Play on Days 1 & 2, with the lowest 42 scores qualifying for rounds 3 & 4, which will then take place on Friday.

Our course has had a brilliant year, from welcoming members and visitors week after week to proudly hosting the Irish Senior Men’s & Women’s Close.

A huge amount of work goes into keeping Enniscorthy in the condition it is, and there is still plenty more we want to do.

Our Club Fundraiser Open Weekend, 26th & 27th September, is a chance to come together and support the continued improvement of the course for our members, guests and everyone who enjoys playing here.

If you’ve visited us over the past year, we’d love to welcome you back. Every team that takes part helps us keep building on what we have. 💚⛳

AIG MEN’S SENIOR CUP | ALL-IRELAND QUARTER-FINAL

Tomorrow our Senior Cup team head to Shandon Park Golf Club, Belfast for their All-Ireland Quarter-Final, teeing off at 12:30pm.

A win tomorrow would see Enniscorthy progress to the semi-final and, hopefully, the final on Saturday.

All support would be hugely appreciated for what promises to be a big day for the team.

🚆 Travelling from Enniscorthy
• Train departs Enniscorthy at 6:20am
• Approx. one-hour break in Connolly Station, handy for breakfast
• Arrives in Belfast at 11:50am
• Tee-off at 12:30pm

Those with a Free Travel Pass can travel free by rail.
