Our Under 9 girls wrapped up their season in style taking part in a blitz in Ferrycarrig Park at the weekend. A massive well done to the girls and management for all their efforts this season and thank you to the organisers who looked after our team so well. Enjoy the summer girls!

The club will host its annual End of Season Awards night where we recognise the Team and Individual achievements on the bank holiday Sunday 31st of May. Presentations will be made to our Players of the Season and Top Scorers from the Youths, Under 19's, Ladies and Men's Teams.

Our Under 19's travel to Ferrycarrig Park this Saturday to take on North End United in the final of the Under 19's cup. The boys have done fantastically well to get to here and will need your support to try get them over the line in what should be a great final.

Bree United 0-1 Gorey Rangers

Hard luck to our Men’s B team today who narrowly lost out to Gorey Rangers for the Division 5 title in an end to end game in Macmine today. Their only defeat in the league this season shows the level of competition Gorey Rangers gave them in the title fight for Division 5. Despite the loss it’s been a fantastic season for the lads and they now look forward to plying their trade in Division 4A next season.

Congratulations to Gorey Rangers enjoy the celebrations and see you again next season!

𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟱 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗥

Best of Luck to our Men's B team who face Gorey Rangers at home this Sunday in a winner takes all game to decide who is crowned this season's Wexford Football League Division 5 winners. Both teams go into the final game level on points with Bree maintaining an unbeaten record. Hopefully that stays intact and we seal the 3 points required to take the title.

All support welcome at Macmine this Sunday. Kick off in the B game is 1.30pm

𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝟭𝟵'𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗨𝗣 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟

Our Under 19 team progressed to the Cup Final last night after overcoming Killenagh Wanderers on a 4-1 scoreline at the Enniscorthy Astro.

A nervy start for both sides saw the game swing both ends before Bree United took a grip on the game. Noah Goucher hit the post in the 28th minute after some deft footwork but he went one better just three minutes later linking up well with Dan Murphy before slotting past the keeper to give the Bree boys the lead. Bree kept their foot on the pedal and Nathan Doyle doubled the lead another two minutes later cutting in from the wing and finding the net from the edge of the box with a super strike. The scoreline remained the same as the half time whistle went.

Killenagh Wanderers came out strong in the second half and Billy Fitzpatrick's long range strike found the net in the 55th minute to breathe fire into Killenaghs revival but Bree withered the storm and again pressed on playing some lovely possession football on the astro surface knocking the ball about with purpose. Bree extended their lead again in the 66th minute when Noah Goucher teed up Dan Murphy who let fly from 20 yards finding the net superbly with his strike. Bree United put the game to bed in the 72nd minute with a great passing move which culminated in Nathan Doyle latching onto Conn Fraser's lovely reverse pass, rounding the keeper before finishing to send the Bree boys safely into the final.

A great crowd was there to cheer both teams on in a very entertaining game under the lights in Enniscorthy Astro. Hard luck to Killenagh Wanderers and we wish them the best for the rest of their season. Our lads can now look forward to a cup final on Saturday the 9th of May in Ferrycarrig Park where they will no doubt have the underdog tag against Leinster Champions North End United but it's a challenge we are sure they will look forward to. Congratulations lads and stay tuned for the build up to the final.
