Our 7 Club Members who got a 3 day temporary release clause, to swap club colours to take part in the 3 day clare crusaders clinic fundraising tour. Covering 400km😀

Hopefully they will report back to the next club spin in correct colours or our chairperson JC has a hefty release fee in place.

Also full credit to the Clarecrusaders Cyclingclub as a large portion of club cyclists in clare orignaly started their cycling with the crusaders.

Aot of negotiations going on in the back round i hear.😃

7 dolmen riders became honorary crusaders for the 3 day,
Collecting vital funds for the clinic over a few very enjoyable days on the bike in the 🌞

With 9 riders meeting them at the ferry sunday morning and sharing the final few 50km back to barfield some tired bodies but well done all involved.

League racing with Chris, Pete & Finnian battling out C3 group and getting stronger every week.

Paul fahy & Eamonn Keane digging hard in 2nd C3 group with paul picking up a few wins .

Paul H, Pete, John o D and steve, Catal taking on limerick league also.

Noel,Eamonn,Pete, Michael Daffy,Finiann & Paul fahy headed to take on the wicklow 200 a challenging sportive but a very enjoyable day in the mountains.

Special shout out to Flan taking on the The Transatlanticway started thursday morning up along the coast of Ireland safe trip.

Next up is the Tour de Burren and M&M Memorial Classic bike race.

The Clare Crusaders

Friday 12th,13th and 14th June
The Clare Crusaders Tour 2026 will see 21 cyclists take on a challenging 3-day, 400km charity cycle in support of the Clare Crusaders Children’s Clinic.
Cyclists from Crusaders Cycling Club, Dolmen Cycling Club, and individual supporters

will cycle approximately 130km per day, travelling through several counties before returning to Clare.
Route:

Day 1:
Barefield to Cahir, Co. Tipperary
Day 2:

Cahir to Tralee
Day 3:

Tralee to Barefield via the
Shannon Ferry
This incredible effort will help raise vital funds to support the therapies and services provided to children and families attending Clare Crusaders.

While the racers Paul Harrington , Finnian,Pete, Steve Lyons & Cathal Russell are racing out in west clare in the 2 day 3 stage hosted by West Clare Cycling Club the Crotty Cup & The Cotter Cup

Hectic few weeks for all.
Plenty happening.
Cliffs of Moher Cycle Challenge always delivers great atmosphere ,food and socialising we had groups for all route 24 turned out in total even the weather turned up.

Paul Fahy took on the london marathon a sucker for punishment 😂on 2 legs or wheels in a great time.

Peter Courtney done his longest cycle so far supporting Irish liver foundation cycling from Galway to dublin covering 220km congrats Peter.

Terry took on the limerick run another 2 legs 2 wheel Kinda Guy ,😁

Ed gods know where you find him roaming up and down random hills through out the country 😀

Noel Cusack took on 560km in Girona his first gravel ultra 40 hrs on a beautiful brutal route.

Michael Sharkey is getting in some secret training in Portugal

Plenty of saturday and mid weeks spin going on taking advantage of the dry spell

PH and Dafy caught on a romantic coffee stop enjoying a small group spin.🤣
