Ennis Tri club was delighted to nominate The Liam Boland Fundraising appeal as our partner charity for iTri 2016.

A group of men and women have signed up for a white collar boxing event on September 30th. This is in aid of Liam Boland's rehabilitation and recovery after a serious accident last June.

Thickets for this fantastic event will be available from the West County hotel, Auto body crash repairs, Quin road Ennis and from all the contenders.

All donations big and small for this very worthy cause would be greatly appreciated.

As you all know we here at Ennis Triathlon club are very proud of our I-tri Sprint Triathlon race that is now in its third year. It has become one of the highlights of our racing calendar and is growing in numbers every year, as well as achieving National Series again in 2016. This is down in no small part to the fantastic support we receive each year from YOU, our members and competitors. We have a chance to let everyone know what a great race we have down here in Co. Clare, so we are asking if you could vote for the race.

Below are details of the Ennis Tri Club weekly training sessions.
Any potential members who might be interested in the sport can feel free to come along to any of 3 sessions before committing to joining the club.

Mondays: coached Bike turbo session at Fahy hall Roslevan from 7 to 8pm. Hall open for set up at 6:45.
Remis core from 8 to 9pm also in Fahy hall. (Pay as you go session).

Tuesday: coached pool swim from 8 to 9pm at Shannon pool.

Wednesday: coached run session from 7 to 8pm at lees rd track.

Thursday:1 hour bike on the bypass for all levels.
Meet at 6:20 outside top bike.

Saturday: club group cycle consisting of 3 groups to cater for all levels including beginners. Each group led by an experienced cyclist.

We would encourage as many members as possible to join in as it's a great way of meeting and getting to know each other. The more the merrier so, on yer bike.

Check out the Ennis tri club chat group on Facebook to join up with other members who might be doing training sessions outside of the club sessions.
