We braved the icy conditions on Saturday for our first match of 2026.. ❄️🥶
A great team effort from our girls on the day with Captain Sarah Coote leading the back line and keeping cool and calm under pressure, her fancy footwork had the west attackers on their toes 💃🏻
A solid performance from our other defenders with Hazel always on hand to clear the ball, she may have been asleep when she arrived to Lees road but she was quick off the mark for the whole game helping the backline when under pressure from the west attack 💪🏽
No rollie pollies from Rebecca this time unfortunately, she was able to stay on her feet on the icy pitch 🌀
The midfield duo of Suzanne and Laura worked non-stop, winning balls, making passes, and probably covering enough ground to qualify for a marathon 🏃🏼♀️💨
Between the sticks Dolly was as reliable as ever staying sharp and making key saves when needed 🧤
Rachel woke up feeling generous that morning and tried her best to assist all 17 other teammates on the day, with plenty of passes, crosses and shots on goal she had a brilliant game on the wing 7️⃣
