Outdoor adventure experiences Short Adventures

Adventure can be described as experiences that combine new discoveries with the potential for risk.

For many we see adventure as the big challenge and associate danger of extreme environments in faraway or hard-to-get-to places such as; big seas, rough rivers, angry mountains or jungle terrain. In reality adventure is immersing in the unknown or not quite known, choosing a level of difficulty that we can manage by pushing ourselves, a mixture of both certainty and uncertainty. Within our every-day lives Short Adventures are about being able to experience adventure without having to set aside many days of preparation or travel to far-removed places. Short adventures make up most of our influential experiences in life. These can be as long as a weekend or as short as a half day visit to an unknown; forest, trail, hill, mountain or body of water. It can be a short trip; by boat, by canoe, by foot or bike on one of the many green or blue trails that scatter our island. A short adventure is immersing in nature, experiencing the awe and wonder of our natural world. Short adventures are activities that can be undertaken in relative ease and in places not too far from our home. Please share Short Adventures with your friends if you like what we do?
