6 WINS IN A ROW!!

Dunmanway u8s welcomed Ardfield FC u8s to a very wet Meadows Sunday morning, with both teams serving up a treat for a bumper crowd🤩

A back and forth match from the 1st whistle to the last, with Dunmanway coming out on top🔥

Thank you to everyone who braved the elements this morning, in what was the final home game of our season and also to Ardfield for providing excellent opposition on a wet morning👏🏻

Special mention goes to our Player of the Match, Kelly Crowley, who was outstanding in defence💪

6 wins in a row and a total of 7 in 9 games so far in what has been an outstanding debut season for our u8s⭐️

With two away games left to go this season, against Ardfield and Beara, we are sure the players will continue to give it their all⚽️💚

TOP TABLE CLASH 🤩⭐️

DTSC U14 Girls played at home to Drinagh Rangers AFC in a nail-bitting game 👏🏻
Top of the table clash ended with a share of the points in an evenly contested game, 2-2 💪
Town started brightly having a few chances saved by the goalie or just missing the target 🎯
Drinagh took the lead and lead 1-0 at the break but Town came out lively after the break ⚽️
Rachel o Leary levelled it up as she scored a worldie with a great strike from well outside the box beating the keeper high and against the post 🤩🔥
Town conceded shortly after but town weren’t done with a great through ball by Emily Hayse to Chloe o Farrell and she made no mistake beating the keeper 💪
Both teams created chances looking for the winner but it finished level 👏🏻
The girls played really well against fantastic Drinagh side and looked disappointed with a draw which shows how far the team has progressed! The draw keeps Drinagh at the top by two points but Town have 2 games in hand⚽️

FIGHTING BACK 💪⚽️🔥
Dunmanway Town u12 boys played away to Clonakilty AFC Rovers in the league ⚽️💪

The home team took the lead towards the middle of the first half with a great strike from the edge of the box. Town were alittle off there best in the first half but of course we came out in the second half with abit more intensity 🤩
Deservedly got there equaliser through Fionn O Leary when latched onto a loose ball and hit a sweet shot to the roof of the net 🔥
With about 10 min left on the clock, Conor O Sullivan got on the end of Ciaran O Farrell corner and headed to the net 👏🏻
Town held on for the win, much improved second half, Special mention for Alex in the town goal who made a few great saves 🧤

Steve has completed his medical, passed his fitness test (thanks to the Masters season) and is back for another season of westcorkleague with the Men’s Junior Team 🔥

WINNING IN THE RAIN ☔️

Dunmanway u8s welcomed Beara u8s to the Meadows, on a very wet Thursday evening ☔️

Dunmanway got off to a great start taking the lead through Archie Burgoyne before Beara scored two quick goals! Dunmanway responded to bring it level at half time 💪

Dunmanway were quickest off the mark in the 2nd half with some great play between Luke Collins and Fionan O’ Donovan and some great team goals to leave Dunmanway safely ahead with 5 mins to go.

Beara staged a late comeback in the pouring rain but Dunmanway were able to hold off, with some great defensive play by Kacey Crowley, with the game finishing Dunmanway on Top! 👏🏻

Thank you to Beara u8s for being so accommodating in rescheduling this evenings game and for making the long trip up. We look forward to our game later in the month, in Castletownbere 🤩

A week on from winning the league, Dunmanway Masters Captain Barry O Neill came to training for the U8s to show the league trophy which the Masters brought home to Town 💚 Kids were thrilled with the surprise!

ON TOP FORM 👏🏻⚽️

Our U14 Boys played a cracking game away VS Ardfield FC 💪
Town started fast with Sam Kingston and Danny Carroll hitting the cross bar and post before we got the breakthrough from Tristan Hayes and doubled his tally 5 mins later 🔥⚽️
Ardfield got one back just before half time, second half was a combination of hard work and determination to keep ardfield out and then Danny Carroll scores with a brilliant individual goal to seal it 🤩
