💢 County Intermediate C’ship Update 💢
Both Dohenys & Midleton recorded equal points in the Championship, 7 a piece. However, Dohenys qualify for a semi final place after a review of County Board rule changes in 2026 where the ruling states “ if the head to head match was a draw, the team with the lowest score conceded across all group games, will be ranked higher.”
So as Dohenys have conceded the lowest score💪 we march through to the Semi final avoiding a quarter final clash. 🙌🙌🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
A week extra to regroup and rest, for coaches to review strategies and work on areas of weakness from yesterday’s hard fought game.
In true Doheny fashion, our girls never gave up.. credit where credit is due, this was a terrific team performance with each and all giving 100% when the pressure was on 👏👏
