πIf you are in self-isolation or are avoiding public places for health reasons you might find it difficult to collect your prescriptions. The advice from Hallahan's is to
1. Call your GP for your prescriptions and ask them to keep them for your pharmacist to collect from them. This limits exposure.
2. Ask surgery to email scripts via Health mail (an email for HSE staff only so GDPR adhered to)
3. Ring Hallahan's and inform them of what surgery to collect from and ask for script to be gotten ready. Leave phone number so pharmacy staff can contact person to arrange pick up at a scheduled time or to arrange delivery.
4. We have arranged with all surgeries to collect scripts for patients twice weekly at scheduled times.
π Please give your GP and Pharmacist plenty of time as this process will take a bit longer.
π Keep on top of your medicine but please DO NOT stock pile.
π Ireland has sufficient supplies of medicines however stockpiling may lead to temporary, localised shortages putting more vulnerable people at risk.
