☀️Summer time staff wanted 🚲🐑
Join Paul Lannen and Son Ltd also trading as The Greenway Rent a Bike.
For an active summer working in our wool shed based in Dungarvan and bike hire in Dungarvan at the original start/end of the Waterford Greenway.
We are looking for versatile team members ready to dive into both sides of our business.
If you’re looking for a varied summer job where no two days are the same, this is for you!!
You’ll be splitting your time between the traditional wool shed and the active bike hire on the Greenway.
Essential Criteria for all staff:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Physical ability (fitness), proficiency (e.g simple bike repairs).
- A “can do” attitude.
- Customer focused attitude.
- A Clean driving (B) licence or in the process of getting one.
Desirable Criteria:
- Education: Currently pursuing or holding a Level 7/8 Degree
- Certification: Bicycle Mechanic Certification (e.g Cytech or equivalent), Forklift certification, or a Trailer (BE) licence.
- Experience: Previous background in Agriculture, Tourism, or Leisure sectors.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Hands on experience with tool use, machinery maintenance, or advanced bike repairs.
- Local Knowledge: A good familiarity with the local Greenway routes and history.
