Hey everyone, it’s Lee here. It’s with a heavy heart that, in our 16th year at Narosa, I must share that I’m moving on with my family to Scotland to begin a new chapter.
Narosa will continue on with Duncan and our amazing team. Jude and I will still be involved, but from across the water in Scotland.
We’re relocating to Edinburgh with our kids, Oscar and Ella, to be closer to family again. Being from Scotland and Jude from Germany, we’ve missed that family connection over the years and feel it’s time to rekindle those bonds.
When Duncan and I set out for beautiful Dunfanaghy years ago, we hoped to share the joys of surfing with as many people as possible. We’ve had an incredible journey and I’m amazed by what our brilliant team has accomplished. A huge thank you to all the Narosa crew over the past 16 years, especially those who have been with us for so long and continue to work toward our vision.
This morning, I was in the water at Falcarragh with the kids and families surfing, and I love it as much as I did during our first lessons. Striving to improve someone’s day and put a smile on their face never gets old.
I want to personally thank everyone who walked through our doors and embraced what we were trying to achieve at Narosa. The team will continue to aim for new heights in the future.
It’s been an incredible privilege to teach so many wonderful people to surf and to watch the kids grow up and achieve amazing things. Many of those kids have joined our team and are nurturing the next generation of surfers in Donegal.
We are a family business, and I feel connected to so many of you. Although I’m sad I won’t get to say goodbye to everyone, I hope you’ll stay in touch and we’ll meet again.
