Ardee Shooting Club

Today Ardee CPC celebrated winning the 2026 Leinster Inter Club League (Leinster League). This win is a significant achievement for the club as it celebrates 20 years in existence this year.

The presentation celebrations were held at the Ardee CPC shooting grounds. The day started at 10am with a 50 bird sporting shoot which was very well supported by the other participating clubs. At 1.30pm a shoot off was held to determine some of the class winners. This was held on a 4 bird compak shoot and was a top class demonstration of shooting skills. Around 2.30pm the presentations began presided over by League Chairman Austin Gilligan and Stats office Ian Coleman.

Several people from the club received class prizes, Darragh Lennon for 4th in Colts and Michael Finnegan for 6th in D class.
The cup for club winner was picked up by Dennis Duggan.

Ardee CPC would like to congratulate Streete Sporting Clay Pigeon Shooting Grounds and Mill Hill Cpsc. on their 2nd and 3rd place win. We would also like to congratulate all the class winners.

Last but not least I think all participants of the league would like to thank the entire organising committee of the Leinster Inter Club League (Leinster League). It's through their dedication that ensures it runs smoothly each year.

Fabulous round of the Leinster Inter Club League (Leinster League) held at the picturesque Carrick Glen CPC clay pigeon shooting in wicklow. A lovely course on a sunny Sunday morning. Nice to see a good turnout from Ardee Shooting Club

Our Autumn League ended on Saturday. The cash-payout was €3,520.00 divided between ll competitor’s. They were as follows,

A short birds eye view from last Sunday's shoot. A perspective we don't normally get to see. It takes a lot of work each week to run a shoot. We are grateful to all those that provide their time each week to ensure it all runs smoothly.
