Hooked Kitesurfing Kitesurfing School based in the South East of Ireland You will receive your internationally recognised IKO card, allowing you to kitesurf anywhere in the world.

At Hooked Kitesurfing can teach any level of rider, from a complete beginner with no previous experience to those of you looking to master advanced techniques such as going upwind and jumping. IKO Kitesurfing courses consist of approximately 3 hour sessions, This includes the use of all the necessary equipment. 3-4 sessions will be required depending on rider,
By the end of the beginners' course

, you will know everything you need to kitesurf independently and safely. We can also give advice as to which equipment is right for you. we teach kitesurfing every windy day on Duncannon beach and Rosslare Strand both 1.5 and 2hrs respectively from Dublin. students must be 7yrs+ for land power kite lessons and 12yrs+ for kitesurfing. call 0876755567

Please Join Us and Help Us!

We are delighted to say that Duncannon’s annual summer family festival will take place on Saturday, 18th July 2026. The free event will have a range of fun activities for children and adults on Duncannon’s beach, fort and green, and will end with a live-band finale and spectacular fireworks display. We will post the full programme of activities soon, so stay tuned.

The Duncannon Village Renewal group are organising the event with the support of Fáilte Ireland, Wexford Co. Council and local businesses, but we can't do it without your help. We need volunteers to help on the day and make the festival possible, so if you can spare just a couple of hours please message us. Thank you!

Large, long period swell will start arriving tomorrow (Monday) evening combined with spring tides, building into Tuesday on the west coasts of U.K., Ireland. Arriving France Tuesday morning.
It’s been hyped up to be pretty powerful but we’ll see. If it is stay within your comfort levels, and if you are experienced do us and a favour and keep an eye out for random tourists who don’t know about tides, swells and sets. With decent weather there’ll no doubt be a few incidents and lifeguards can’t be everywhere.
