Sailing is a great leisure activity, an active sport, and an adventurous way to explore Ireland's seas, lakes and rivers. You can be what you want to be: crew, organiser, dinghy sailor, skipper, explorer or even an ocean racer! The uSail training courses are for adults of all ages with courses being run throughout the season enabling you to feel the "buzz" of both sailing and the club itself. A co

urse will have five training sessions spread over two weeks, on week nights and one Saturday afternoon. The RSGYC is an ISA-approved training centre and the courses are run by professional sailing instructors, assisted by shore support volunteers. Throughout the course you will receive quality instruction and tuition, with individual feedback both during and after each course. Most of the training is on 1720 keelboats, however you will also try Squibs, cruisers and powerboats. Oilskins and other essential gear is supplied for you to use during the uSail course.
