On a run over 1 year ago somewhere in the Wicklow mountains told me he wanted to run from Galway to Dublin to celebrate the life of his brother James and the continuing recovery of the MMA fighter from a significant injury. Through the utterances of this one sentence, Ben has raised money, awareness, and hope for those fighting battles that words can never truly explain.
This inspiring project required many equally inspiring people who worked tirelessly throughout this journey, most notably his wife and children, coupled with those whose humbleness is equally a testament to their character. We at Champion Gym salute those who were "committed to their promise"😉.
