This old Sika stag came across my trail cam, caught in the fading light.
Not the clearest picture, but there’s something special about seeing a mature stag like this out in the wild.

Moments like this are why I love trail cameras. ❤️

A few minutes ago: “I need to eat and get ready for the rut.” 🌿💪

Then he spotted a Sika doe… 👀🦌

“Actually… forget the food. I’ve got more important business to attend to.” 😂

The diet can wait. The ladies can’t! 😎🔥
