A dear friend of mine from my teenage years is doing Tai Chi in various spots around North Belfast with the Ashton Community Trust. Contact Joe on 07890 087678 to find out more! Tai chi is slow and gentle but can be a very effective way to improve your balance, as well as muscle strength and flexibility. I think you’d love it!

Free Tai Chi Classes in North Belfast throughout June starting Monday 6th at 11.30am!

Tai Chi is a gentle exercise for body, mind, and soul and can be done seated or standing - it is suitable for people of all ages and abilities including complete beginners. These classes are part of the “Fun in the Sun” community street dance and exercise programme organised by Ashton Health and Wellbeing.

Come join us for tai chi at the following times and locations starting Monday 6th June:
Mondays 11.30-12.30 – WATERWORKS (at circular benches beside public toilet/sports pitches at junction of Antrim Road & Cavehill Road)
Mondays 6 – 7pm – ALEXANDRA PARK (Antrim Road entrance)
