Bujinkan Crimmins Dojo was opened by Shihan Tony Crimmins to promote the teaching of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, founded by Dr. Maasaki Hastumi, to both adults and children in Ireland. The Instructor has been Garda vetted and has completed the Irish Martial Arts Council (IMAC) Level 1 coaching course. This dojo focuses on the study of nine traditional japanese martial arts schools:

With a strong focus on the fundamentals of taijutsu (body movement), ukemi (break-falls), rolling, balance, Kamae (Postures), Junan Taiso (stretching), punching and kicking. Adult classes are held on Monday and Thursday. These will explore the above schools and fundamentals. They aim to teach a practical Japanese art for self-defence, also promote physical and mental growth. Students are encouraged to learn techniques in an environment where it is safe to do so, learning the principles of how and why they work until they become second nature. Training carried out is based on the use of weapons and unarmed, covering how these relate to each other and can be applied in either fashion. Classes for children are held on a Thursday. The aim of these classes is to teach martial arts and promote grown in children. The techniques and movements taught will aid flexibly, improve motor skills, hand-eye coordination, balance and awareness. Also build confidence and self-control as the children are encouraged to learn and explore these movements to discover how they work in a fun way with others of the same age group. Timetable:
