HISTORY MADE FOR IRELAND! 🇮🇪🥇
-
In a 78-year federation first, Harrison McGrogan has been crowned European Champion at the EWF European Junior & U23 Championships in Durrës, Albania! 🇦🇱

Lifting a massive 300kg Total (134kg Sn**ch 🥉 / 166kg Clean & Jerk 🥇), Harrison secured overall Gold by just 1kg! Following up on his landmark Youth medals in Madrid last year (including Gold in Clean & Jerk, Bronze in Sn**ch and Silver Overall), Harrison led a phenomenal 11-strong Irish delegation in Albania - with 7 total lifters placing in the Top 15 in Europe!

A massive shoutout to coaches Claire McLarnon & Harry Leech for their tireless work all week long and a huge thank you to Sport Ireland for their crucial support! 🍀
