U11s played home this morning vs Swords Celtic. The lads were slow to start in the first half and despite a number of chances on goal couldn't make them count and went in at half time 0-0. In the 2nd half the lads were honestly the slickest we have seen them yet, beautiful 1 and 2 touch football that the sidelines could not believe they were seeing, being quite honest either could myself and @⁨Tom U10⁩ 🤣
It paid off in the end for them with some cracking team goals to secure a convincing 5-0 win 🔵⚫️⚽️

It was a cracking 4-4 game. An excellent game to watch this morning. It was a well matched game . Kids played their hearts out. The passing and team work was unbelievable. It was a game we needed to show it and we did today. Very proud of all the kids 👏.

We played an away game today. Unfortunately, it wasn't our day; we were losing 0–4 in the first half. Our team looked as they were still in bed 😉Thanks to our goalkeeper we did't lose higher —Simon made a lot of great saves and was named Man of the Match. We were missing two of our key defenders today, which had a significant impact on our defensive play. We came out for the second half with our heads up as we never give up 💪 The second half was much, much better. Simon was solid in goal, and we played better in every position, conceding only one goal in the second half for a final score of 0–5. The team fought to the end, but unfortunately, we lost the match against one of the strongest teams in our league.

U13.12 Had tough game at home to the league leaders!By far the better team on the pitch this morning but unfortunate to lose 0-1. This squad of players fought and fought to try claw one back and didn’t give up 💪🏽 Proud of all the performances and a joy to watch the squad get stronger and stronger each week. Man of the match goes to Billy “Bullseye” Bank . Onto training and build on todays game and go next week and get our well deserved 3 points 👏 UTM

🔵⚫️ **Mark’s Celtic FC U11s Match Report** ⚽️

Well done to the boys today in what was without a doubt their toughest test yet, away to Rivermount Boys FC! 👏🏻

A fiercely competitive and physical game, with individual battles all over the pitch and two very evenly matched teams in terms of footballing ability.

What impressed me most was the boys’ response to adversity. After a difficult first half, they showed fantastic character, resilience and togetherness to come out in the second half, fight for each other and score **three unanswered goals!** 💪🏻🔥

And of course, Freddie’s goal deserves a special mention… 🔥🔥🔥 What a moment!

But as always, football is a team game, and every single boy played their part. As a group, they gave absolutely everything for each other and the badge.

These are the games that build character, develop resilience and help players grow. The boys will take so much from this experience, and if today is anything to go by, they will only continue to get better.

Honestly, a fantastic performance from every single one of them. They represented Mark’s Celtic brilliantly today and should all hold their heads high. Be proud of yourselves, boys! 💙🖤👏🏻

U14s won away V Mulhuddart .Final result was 4 - 3. The lads had to battle hard today after losing to this team 5-1 last week. Today we went 2 nil down only to get 1 goal back just before Halftime through Eric. Sebastian then equalized on two occasions before netting the winner at the end of the game. Some great performances from the whole squad and the way they wrestled to finally win was superb 👏. Sean made some vital saves to keep us in it and Orentas, Brody Alex Rafay battled well at the back. Kayden Michael and Ollie won the midfield battle and Musab caused them lots of problems all day aswell as Sam and Kai on the wings. Sebastian for his hat-trick and work rate fully deserved his Man of the Match award today. 👏 👏 👏
