Oran Camogie Club extends our deepest sympathies to the Lawless and Kelly families on the sad passing of Mary Lawless.
The Lawless family have had a strong connection with our club for many years, and we especially think of Maura, former player and club member, Colm, our senior manager, and our senior players Taylor, Mella and Hazel at this difficult time.
May Mary rest in peace!
MARY LAWLESS (née Delaney) Oran, Donamon, Co Roscommon and formerly of Derrymore, Ballinamore Bridge, Co Galway. June 22nd, 2026. (Peacefully), in the devoted care of the staff at Sonas Nursing Home, Cloverhill. Beloved wife of the late Tommie and sister of the late Margaret, Ann and Dorothy. Much loved mother to Mattie, John, Mark and Maura. She will be very sadly missed by her family, brothers P.J., Denis and Joseph, sisters Concepta and Lily, daughters-in-law Lorena, Anne and Grainne, son-in-law Colm, grandchildren Sarah, Ciarán, Ava, Caoimhe, Cayla, Shane, Taylor, Andrea, Mella, Hazel, Cian and Abbie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law. nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon F42 NH27, on Wednesday evening from 4.30 o’c until 6.30 o’c followed by removal to St Patrick’s Church, Clooneycolgan F42 NR28. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday at 11.30 o’c. Burial afterwards in Oran Cemetery. For those wishing to offer their sympathies, we suggest using the online condolence link below. Mary’s family would like to acknowledge the kindness and care shown to her and to them by the staff at Sonas, Cloverhill during Mary’s time in their care and also convey their deep appreciation to everyone for their support at this time.
