Welcome to the exciting world of Acting Academy performing Arts school. The school opened it’s doors in 2003 and was started by professional actress Liz Bracken.The school holds weekly classes in Swords, Balbriggan and Dunshaughlin and are now in our 11th successful year. The aim of Acting Academy is to create a healthy learning environment for children to grow in confidence, develop acting skills
through activities and performances and keep fit! All while having fun, making friends and learning the latest funky dance moves. All of our classes are age appropriate aimed at children from 4-6 (Juniors) 7-9 (Junior advanced), !0-12 (Seniors) 13-16 ( Senior advanced). All classes in the Acting Academy are taught by theatre professionals. There is a huge emphasis on improvisation and story telling in the classes. Children have great fun dressing up and creating their own characters and stories. Through group work the children develop skills in confidence, self esteem and emotional awareness. Each year all students get a chance to shine in our end of year production. Our shows are well known for their creativity and high standard and are always produced in a professional theatre. Our aim is to keep the rehearsal process as fun and creative as possible. It is always a time of great excitement and offers the students the opportunity to grow in confidence, courage, memory and team work.
