KOREC Tennis Europe Under 12 tournament
A belated thank you to all those who helped us to deliver a great week of international tennis:
• Our sponsors KOREC, KPMG, GFE (Global Fresh Exotics), Vit-Hit, David Lloyd Clubs, Tennis Ireland and the many individual donations that together made it financially possible to deliver a high-quality tournament. We could not have done it without their support.
• David Lloyd Riverview restaurant and reception staff for their patience and warm welcome to all the players, spectators and officials.
• Our officials: Ugo Lopez, tournament referee, Umpires and court supervisors Lauren Deegan, Oisin Shaffrey, Ross Deegan, Sofia Derivan, Kate Huizenga, Emma Brennan and Helen Hudson. And also to Mareze Joubert, Julie-Anne Hudson and Martin Golab for filling in when it was needed.
• Tennis Manager, Gareth Hixson, who ensured courts were ready, desk well looked after and fruit and drinks supply never stopped.
• Physiotherapist Stephanie Sheppard, who took care of players when required.
• Kevin O’Brien responsible for the superb action pictures.
• And finally, the most important people of all, the COMPETITORS and their parents/teams. Their cooperation and sportsmanship were top of the class and we hope all enjoyed playing in the tournament as much as we enjoyed running it.
