First Competition was at Greystones South Beach on March 21st. It was a lovely evening, and while it wasn't frenetic fishing it was nice to see Plaice showing as well as Dragonet, Whiting , Coalfish, Rockling, Flounder and Dabs.
Al McGrane was the winner on the day. Donal O'Neill had the longest round, a Coalfish, and John Diamond had the longest flat, a flounder.

1st Al McGrane 17 fish 396 points
2nd John Diamond 15 fish 378 points
3rd Donal O'Neill 13 fish 328 points
4th Keith Murphy 13 fish 310 points
