"Paweł "Sthorm" Kunicki is an energetic 38-year-old guy from Gdansk Pomerania. He is known among his relatives and acquaintances for his involvement in the historical reenactment movement - the reconstruction of culture (material and spiritual) of the Baltic people inhabiting this region of Europe from the 8th to the 11th centuries. He has been dealing with this since the mid 90's. To the broader group he's associated (since 2002) with a broadly understood socio-cultural animation, consisting of his activities such as:
- organizing and conducting live history lessons;
- work as a museum-guide;
- participation in the organization and implementation of "mass events" (historical-archeological festivals, concerts, etc.);
- design, preparation and implementation of various types of educational and entertainment lessons (games, competitions and tournaments) for all age groups (children, adolescents, adults and the elderly); in addition, interactive workshops of old crafts and other forms of artistic handicraft.
Often, these classes were of therapeutic nature when their recipients were people with different types of disability or people with social exclusion as a result of other reasons.

In spite of its unrelenting involvement in the reproduction and presentation of many other ancient crafts, wood processing enjoyed his greatest sympathy and devotion.
Protection and popularisation of cultural heritage (especially folk culture) of the Slavs from the tribal period are a brief account of the Sthorm's activity of the last 2 decades.
Unfortunately, this activity was interrupted as a result of an accident - one night in early August at the railway station in Rumia (Pomeranian Voivodeship), under obscure circumstances, Sthorm fell under the train and lost his left arm and left leg. Thanks to a resolute and quick rescue operation, he managed to save his life.
Despite this tragedy, his will to combat all odds has not subsided. Already from the moment of waking from a traumatic coma, he started to plan his return to work - in the position of the custodian in the Slavic settlement:

as well as to the other forms mentioned above of its current activity. However, to do so, he must first be freed from the barriers hitching him - the "hook" to a wheelchair. He must just stand on his legs (his own right leg and left orthopedic prosthesis). It is well known that the return to full fitness is not possible, but the use of modern forms of orthopedic prosthetics will largely allow him to continue what he had previously done, which he has been successful so far and valuable lessons drawn from a few defeats."
