We are delighted to let you know, that Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland have partnered with Barretstown to run a Family Fun day. The action packed day will take place Sunday 23rd of April, arrival 10:30am to 4:30pm
At Barretstown, the aim is to provide a continuum of care to support children and their family on their journey through serious illness or disability; helping to rebuild confidence, self-esteem, and independence.
Barretstown family days are suitable for all ages, these camps are an opportunity for families to engage in a fun programme supported by a 24/7 onsite medical team should your child require medical attention during their stay. Activities are self led (with Barretstown leaders) so you can do everything in your own time and take part in the activities of your choice. Activities will include Archery, Arts and Crafts, Canoeing, Pony Treks, Fishing, Ropes Course, Crazy Golf and Lego and more!. The fun day is focused on connecting members from across Ireland and having a fun and relaxed day.
**Please note some activities may not be suitable for younger children**
Barretstown is in Ballymore Eustace, Co.Kildare and members will be required to make their own way there. Click on link for details and map

Dyspraxia/DCD Ireland have subsidised the cost of the day, however there will be a charge of €40 per person. This will cover the day’s activities and all food (a tea & coffee snack break and lunch).
It is advisable to bring a changes of clothes, wear closed toe shoes and dress according to the weather J
