This year, the Fei Sheehy Challenge raised a total of €6,871.70 for our chosen charities.
€2,290.57 EUR was donated to the Mend the Mountain Fund
€2,290.56 EUR was donated to the Dublin R**e Crisis Centre and
€2,290.56 EUR was donated to Médecins Sans Frontières
Sincere thanks to all of our participants and to those who generously donated and supported us.

September recap: Josie hiked the Portuguese Camino from Baiona to Santiago while Karol, Annette and Seán took on the Maumturks Challenge route. Billy tackled the first section of the GR20 in Corsica, Paddy and Irene did the Mourne Mountain marathon and Caroline ended her Slovenia trip with a successful summit of Triglav. Karol and Irene were part of a relay team for the Denis Rankin Round, Dan was the 5th person across the finish line at the Kerry Way Ultra and Theresa claimed the top spot in her age category for the 46km Ecotrail!

Na Sléibhte open hike takes place on Sat 10th October in Wicklow: new and prospective members are very welcome. Open to self-navigators (GPX will be shared).
One long hike per month in various parts of the country. A great chance to see new places and discover new routes and areas. Email [email protected] to join the hike.

Congratulations to our club member Dan who tore up the course on the 200km Kerry Way Ultra this weekend, he was the 5th person to cross the finish line. An incredible achievement!
