Fitness for Kids Fitness for children is group based classes, one to one sessions, camps and parties. We encourage ch I'm Sharon Flanagan, the owner of Fitness for Kids.

I've always been passionate about exercise and healthy living. I've had the privilege of looking after so many children and have always loved creating games and activities. I'm delighted to have combined my two passions and ready to kick start Fitness for Kids. I co-owned a crèche for a number of years and have been a nanny for over six years. I studied Childcare and Education receiving a CACHE Di

ploma and FETAC Level 5 certificate. I also received a FETAC Certificate as a Special Needs Assistant. Other qualifications include Health and Fitness instructor (NCEF) and Occupational First Aid. I believe in children having fun in a positive and healthy environment. It's so important for children to have a healthy and active lifestyle so they can carry this on throughout their life. I believe that children should have as much fun as possible through exercise using games and activities. Through exercise we use three elements of fitness: endurance (aerobic), strength (impact) and flexibility (stretching).

I'm so lucky to call this my job because I could talk about kids movement all day long (and often do!)
I adore working with children because they are wayyyyyy better than adults (no offence)

What a day at the Ireland’s Fittest School Live Finale 🍌 🏃🏻 🥇
The atmosphere, the effort, and the positivity on display were unbelievable from start to finish. After months of competition, the top four schools battled it out for the title, and every school should be incredibly proud of what they achieved.
Huge congrats to Caltra National School Galway for taking the win and walking away with €5,000 worth of sports equipment. Absolutely deserved.
Being part of this campaign as an ambassador has been so special. Seeing students challenge themselves, support each other, and enjoy being active has been amazing to watch.
Thanks so much to and a massive well done to all the schools involved this year.

11 years ago I waited in Bayside waiting for some people to come in and join my first ever class.
To celebrate everyone booked in tomorrow can bring a pal along with them! We are in BALDOYLE racecourse community centre (not Bayside!) for two classes at 3pm and 4pm

Happy International Women’s Day
but in this house we celebrate women (or mini women) every day.

With three daughters, I’ve learned that my mini women run my world, the house, the schedule and pretty much everything else 😅 wouldn’t have it any other way!
