Trinity Sailing win IUSA 1🏆🥇👑

After a blown out Saturday, Trinity Sailing made Sunday count 🧮 All five of our teams were in gold fleet this weekend, with TCD 2 earning 3rd place. The TCD 1 team of Rian, Conor, Oisin, May, Sam and Georgia managed to top their group, before beating UCD 1 2-0 in the final🥳👏

A huge thanks for Portrush Yacht Club, IUSA, the DUSC committee and everyone who helped the event run so smoothly😘🏃 Stay tuned for more racing footage, and info about where Trinity Sailing are going next!

Last week, we celebrated the arrival of our new fireflies with a boat launch party 🥳 🎉 The event, hosted by the Royal Saint George Yacht Club, saw current sailors, alumni, RSGYC members among others gather for the occasion 🥂🍾 As was mentioned in the excellent speech delivered by captain Oisin, we would like to thank our former members and committee members, RSGYC, and all those who support the club 🤩 ☺️

A special thanks to those who have named the boats 🗒️✍️ Five of them are now named (Berry, Oscar, Mervue, Poppy, and Daisy Rumball), with the naming rights to the sixth still up for grabs. Reach out if you have any interest!

Thanks to Russell for the drone footage and Ruby for the camera shots😘🙂‍↔️

Committee Post Part 2 ♥️♣️♦️♠️

Pick up 4! These next guys are one of a kind, which would be bad news if we were playing poker, but is great news for DUSC! We’ve got our Sailing Captain Max, who loves boat so much his hands have turned into them, and our Keelboat Captain Donal, who despite being down under right now will make sure Trinity yacht stays on top. Finally we’ve got our boat men Christian and Will who’ll be facilitating all this by making sure our new boats stay in top condition!

Don’t go too far, as our final committee members will be revealed 🔜 🔜

Táimid ar ais arís i mbliana, agus níl aon bhealach níos fearr chun tús a chur leis an scéal ná le ruaig ragairne do fhreisear. Tá na clubanna Seoltóireachta, Haca (fir agus mná), Cispheile agus na hEagraí Siamsaíochta ag teacht le chéile chun an t-imeacht is fearr den tseachtain a chur ar fáil daoibh Dé Céadaoin seo ⛵️🏑🏑🏀! Ag tosú ar an gcampas sa Chearnóg Tosaigh ar 7:30 i.n., tabharfaidh an ruaig ragairne turas daoibh chuig na tithe tábhairne agus na clubanna oíche is fearr sa chathair agus sa choláiste; beidh deis agaibh bualadh le baill ó gach ceann de na clubanna atá páirteach ann 🤝🤝! Níl aon bhealach níos fearr do mhac léinn úr chun páirt a ghlacadh i gcuid de na cumainn is fearr atá ann ❤️😘 Tá ticéid sa bith 🔜; ná caill an deis chun tús ceart a chur le do bhliain.
