Longford Sports Partnership preparing for launch of Urban Outdoor Adventure Initiative!

Longford Sports Partnership are launching their Urban Outdoor Adventure Initiative, funded by Sport Ireland Dormant Accounts fund, on Saturday, June 1.

This initiative is running very successfully as a Parkour programme in Longford since October 2018, the programme is funded by Sport Ireland Dormant Accounts fund. This programme involves training Parkour coaches, purchasing of Parkour equipment and rolling out Parkour participation programmes. This programme enhances the use of Ireland's first which is based in Longford.

The officially launch the Parkour programme on Saturday 1st June at 12 noon in the Attic House Teen Project Longford, Ballinalee Road Co.Longford.

There will be an hour and a half of parkour activities taking place after the official launch. There is two activity sessions planned one is open to 6-12 year olds and the other open to 13 to 18 year olds.
