The Dublin Rebels Senior Football Team is back and we want YOU!

The 10 time National Champions are recruiting for the 2027 season and we’re looking for new members to join the squad 💥

We’re actively taking expressions of interest ahead of the official launch of our 2027 rookie camps later this Autumn.

Our youth team look to carry on momentum from last weeks 2-0 gameday 🔥 we’re taking on the admirals and mavericks who match us for record at 3-1 so in terms of playoff standings these 2 games a pivotal for our lads to secure the #1 seed and plant themselves in the semi finals 🏈🔥

It’s a Cork showdown in both games for our Mixed Flag team this weekend!! 🏈🔥Our team will be looking to make it 2 wins from 2 for the Dublin county

First game is @11:30 against the Cork Admirals who are right on our tails in the table so it’ll sure to be a highly competitive game 💥

Our second game is straight after against the Cork City Outlaws who are looking to build momentum on a poor start to the season! Definitely need to execute in this one to take home the dub! 🔥

Our team is sitting at 2-2 for the season so as we get closer to playoff football every win matters!!

Our mixed team went out 1-1 on the day today.
Starting off with a loss against UCD in a high scoring game! The team turned it around against the South Dublin Panthers and put up a major score!
Hopefully we can build on that game and bring the momentum to the Gameweek 3

As the dust settles from a very busy weekend of Rebel Football we take a look at the results from the teams involved! 🏈

Starting off with our Rebels youth kitted team that travelled to the NSC in Blanchardstown to take on the Belfast Knights / Panthers in Game 1 and the Belfast Trojans in Game 2.

The Defence played a huge role in both games keep the Knights / Panthers to 0 points and forcing 4 fumbles against the Trojans that resulted in the Offence being able to capitalise on great field position.

The Offence grew as the day went on after a tough Knights / Panthers defence which didn’t give up much but a long QB Run play that ended up being the only score to seal the Dub! Against the Trojans the offence flexed the passing game with the receivers catching and gaining YAC after each possession. 18-0 at halftime gave us plenty of time to get rotations in to give new players opportunities to show us what they could do and they didn’t disappoint!

Finishing 2-0 on the day, 3-1 on the season they look ahead to the Louth Mavericks and Cork Admirals in 2 weeks time ⚪️⚫️

Next up our Mixed flag team began their campaign in Division 1 travelling to Dodder Valley Park to face the West Dublin Rhinos and Dublin City Wolves.

Starting against the Rhinos the team went down early 13-0 after a slow start on both sides of the ball. The Rhinos started fast and capitalised on our mistakes early. But the team regrouped and brought it back to 13-7 at HT. They then continued the momentum going into the second half with the defence producing Sack after sack that halted any Rhinos momentum. The offence drove home 19pts in the second half to claim the first victory of the season.

Game 2 against the Wolves started and continued to be a long game for the Rebels. Conceding early and giving up big runs stopped the team from building any momentum. The Wolves run plays kept putting the defence on the back foot and chasing the game.

The offence managed just 1 consolation score. A lot of learning was taken from this game and will be needed as the team go again this weekend against UCD and South Dublin Panthers 2 in Dodder Valley Park again.

The team finished 1-1 on the day⚫️🔴

Tomorrow our 2026 Youth Team kick off their season after months of hard work and preparation 💪

We start off against the Dublin Rhinos / Causeway Giants AFC at 11:00 AM and the Craigavon Cowboys at 2:45 PM in the National Sports Campus in Blanchardstown as we chase our first Setanta Bowl! 🏆

Tough end to our season today in St. Mary’s Rugby Club with defeat in the Claddagh Bowl semi-finals.

As a club we are so proud of the unbelievable progress made by the girls this season under the guidance of HC Jack Cronin and undoubtedly even better days are ahead for this talented group 🙌

Congrats to South Dublin Panthers and Dublin City Wolves Flag Football for their wins today 🏆

For now our attention turns to the mixed flag season which kicks off on August 8th! If you want to join the Red Bows squad for next season, send us a DM now 🎀
