Corn Cuculainn Final To Feature On GRI Talking Dogs TV Youtube Live Broadcast

The Final of the Donal Beatty Memorial Corn Cuchulainn is to feature on a live Talking Dogs TV broadcast on Youtube on Saturday 27th June. The hour and half show from Shelbourne Park will be hosted by Ian Fortune, joined by Barry Caul and a special guest.
The show will be live from 8pm to 9.30pm on the night and is a pilot for Greyhound Racing Ireland (GRI) with a view to hosting future events live on Youtube should it prove to be successful. The initiative is in line with the GRI Strategic Plan (2025 – 2029) and the third Strategic Pillar, Sports Access and Public Excitement, helping to build engagement and excitement for the sport.
The Talking Dogs TV Live show will be streamed on the GRI Youtube channel, youtube.com/GreyhoundRacingIreland, and live link will be shared on Talking Dogs and various social media channels in the lead-up to the event. Shelbourne Park will be the feature of the full show, with the Corn Cuchulainn Final and supporting races on the night to be broadcast. Be sure to tune in and support the show.

In doing so, she completed the most incredible double for Paul Hennessy and Lee Craze, just a week on from the brilliant victory of Lennies Eddie in the English Derby at Towcester.

Imelda and her family are well-known for their Catunda greyhound prefix and are very familiar faces here in Shelbourne Park.

BOYLE Sports has officially launched the 2026 Champion Stakes at Shelbourne Park, reinforcing its commitment to Irish greyhound racing at Ireland’s most prestigious greyhound racing track.

The Champion Stakes is run over 550 yards and consistently attracts some of the biggest names in the sport. Widely regarded as the perfect entrée to the Boylesports Irish Greyhound Derby, the competition offers connections an early opportunity to lay down a marker ahead of the sport’s showpiece event.

This year’s renewal is set to get underway on Friday, June 26th with the final scheduled for Saturday July 4th, won last year by the Jennifer O’Donnell-trained Seven Beach. A top prize of €20,000 awaits the winner, ensuring another fiercely competitive edition of the popular contest.

The Celtic Cooling Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Open Unraced 1st Round saw some very bright prospects impress both in victory and defeat, while the two finals on the card were also won in mighty impressive fashion by Uncle Jim and Comeon Me Girl.

There was also a massive run from Carrick Coley as he left his rivals standing in the Semi-Finals of the Barking Buzz A2 525 to clock 28.18.
