Deerpark Tennis Club Deerpark Tennis Club has 6 all weather floodlit courts. We are located in Deerpark public park in Mo There are 6 floodlit all weather tennis courts.

Deerpark Tennis Club is located in Mount Merrion, County Dublin, Ireland. There are several each of Mens, Ladies and Junior teams that play competitive inter-club tennis in the various Dublin Lawn Tennis Council league campaigns that run throughout the year. We also hold many internal club competitions, social tennis, annual championships, coaching and social activities throughout the year. Annual membership is from March to February.

Excitement is building ahead of Saturday night's BBQ at the end of the Adult Club Championships, with the return of former Chairman Tony Fleming and his magnificent back-up troupe, The Fridays, playing. Just to whet the appetite, here's Tony playing 'The Lonesome Boatman' in The Punch Bowl - captured earlier this year at enormous cost. But if you can't wait until Saturday, you can catch the lads in the Punch Bowl this Friday and every first Friday of the month. It's a rollicking good (and free, apart from the drink!) night out.

Tough enough opening week, but promising 3-0 starts for our Class 6 Women and our O45 Class 2 Men. Tough luck on our Mens O35 DP3 team who lost all three matches on Champs tiebreaks!

Men's Captain David Keane organised a challenge match recently for some of the developing Deerpark players against St Mary’s. 8 Deerpark Players played a round robin against 12 St Mary’s players. The Deerpark players were Matthew Daly, Matthew Collins, Peter Clifford, Manu Prasad, Ciaran Molloy, Patrick Rooney, David Flynn and Brendan Geoghegan. A great success all round.

One of the best days of the year in the club happens tomorrow (Sat 22nd August 2026) as our Junior players compete in the finals of the Deerpark Tennis Club Junior Championships. A full day of fun with play starting at 9.00 and running through until 4.00 or so. There will be ice cream vouchers from Ed's, baked goods all day, a professional photographer on site (with thanks to Dick Conroy and the DVD Centre), top class tennis and more drama than a full season of Fair City. Come along, support and enjoy the day.

It's that time of year again! The Deerpark Junior Championships start on Monday 17th August and will run through until the Finals Day on Saturday 22nd. Make sure to get down to the club during the week and support the kids, as there is always some great tennis on show!

DP1 have a bye into the QFs, so no match for them tonight - playing Friday at home to either Charleville or Donnybrook.

Is this Deerpark's best ever performance across the club in a group phase? Our Mixed League teams across Class 1, 2 and 4 have won 80% of their matches - with each team qualifying for the play-offs. Our Class 1 team won their group, winning 13 of 15 matches, and get a bye in the first playoff round. We will now play the winner of Donnybrook 1 and Portrane/Donabate 1 on Wed 7th Aug at home. Our Class 2 team won 11 matches to finish second in their group and now travel to play Fitzwilliam 1 on 5th Aug. And our Class 4 team won their group with 12 wins and will host Navan 3, also on the 5th. Forza DP! The chase for a pennant is back on!
