🚨 Breaking from Quest — sadly, this year’s Quest Killarney Adventure Race will be the final one ever in Killarney.
No more Friday drives down for registration, rolling into town under the shadow of the mighty Reeks. No more buzz of meeting friends, wondering, Are you going big this year? To Mangerton or not to Mangerton — that was always the question.
For many, this wasn’t just a race — it was the race. The flagship. A route that took us through the Gap of Dunloe, Strickeen, Molls Gap, past the Lakes of Killarney, Torc, and of course, the formidable Mangerton. It had everything: challenge, beauty, and unbeatable craic no matter which route you chose.
Its absence will leave a huge gap in the annual racing calendar.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you to the Quest crew for the incredible show you’ve put on here since 2011. Let’s give it a send-off worthy of its legacy, and make this final race one to remember for years to come. 💛
