A throwback to 1993 when DCU Karate Club won the most improved club award having hosted the Irish Karate Intervarsities for the first time. Pics include the club committee (Aoife, Fran, Neville, Dave, Niamh, Lorraine) as well as all the DCU club captains with then president Dr. Danny O'Hare and Sports Officer John Kerrane. As we can't currently train face to face , DCU karate club members are welcome to train online each Tuesday at 7.30pm with the JKA Shotokan Ireland. 🥋👊🏠 Classes are taken by Fran Meggs Sensei, JKA 5th dan and DCU alumni. If you'd like to join in, send us a DM for access details.
