AFL is coming to Leitrim! 🏉
This Saturday 18th July, the South Dublin Swans take on the Galway Magpies at Kiltubrid GAA, with ball up at 1pm.
With more and more Irish players making the move to Australia to play AFL, this is a great opportunity to see what the game is all about right here in Leitrim.
Leitrim has already made its mark on the AFL world through players like Áine Tighe and Eilish O’Dowd, with Áine’s local club being Kiltubrid itself - making this a special occasion to bring the game to her home parish.
We don’t usually get the chance to play in this venue, so we’d love to see plenty of local support and some new faces discovering AFL for the first time.
Whether you’re a lifelong GAA supporter, curious about AFL, or just looking for a good sporting afternoon, come along and see what all the excitement is about.
