Cycling Ireland BMX Commission The Cycling Ireland BMX Commission is the governing body of ‘BMX Racing’ on the island of Ireland.

The Cycling Ireland BMX Commission operates under the auspices of the National Federation, Cycling Ireland, and is governed by its Procedures, Rules, Ethics and Codes of Conduct. The Cycling Ireland BMX Commission will proactively engage in all operational, developmental, technical, promotional and governance of BMX Racing in Ireland. The Commission will be known as Cycling Ireland BMX Commission.

Big thanks to our hosts Courtown BMX for a super days racing. Weather was not ideal but it didn't stop all the amazing riders who gave it their all on the day👏👏👏

WEATHER ANNOUNCEMENT:

Rain is forecast for tomorrow’s race at Courtown. We will endeavour to run the event as per schedule already advertised, but racing may be paused at times for ‘rain stops’ if persistent and heavy.

Registration is still open for Round 5 of the 2026 National series in Courtown BMX this coming Sunday 30th August but will close at 9pm this evening.

SCHEDULE FOR SUNDAY

▪️Gates will open at 10am for Gazebo set up
▪️Registration 11am - 12.30pm YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE YOU GO ONTO TRACK FOR PRACTICE
▪️Track will open at 11am for practice
▪️Open practice 11am - 11.45am
▪️Gate practice 12's and under 11.45am - 12.15pm
▪️Gate practice 13's and over 12.15pm - 12.45pm
▪️Racing to start at 1pm
▪️Prize giving will be directly after racing

Join Cycling Ulster coaches for a fun pump track session at Tanagh OETC (September 19th) and Letterkenny (September 26th).

Bring your own BMX or Mountain Bike or we can provide you with one.
Our coaches will teach you the art of pumping and jumping your way around the tracks.
Four forty-five-minute sessions are available between 11am and 2pm each day. Maximum six riders per session.
Sessions are suitable for riders aged 10-18.

Open times for RACE WEEK... Wednesday 25th 6:30 til 8pm

Sunday - RACE DAY 😎

Track maintenance will be taking place during the sessions as we approach race day so please bear with us.

* Please note: For safety reasons, the session on Saturday 29th is STRICTLY for race preppers only!
