CHOCO♥️🐴💔 so sad to write this😔😢 we lost our dear beautiful friend Choco yesterday.. a little tribute to simply the best horse you could ever love and meet💔🌟🌈

C – Calm
Choco was the calmest, most caring, considerate and coolest horse. He gave confidence to everyone he met, both on and off his back, through his gentle and kind nature. Not only did he care for people, but he also looked after his fellow horses. He was a natural leader.

With his calm temperament, you could always rely on Choco to lead a new, young or anxious horse. He was always foot-perfect, quietly showing them the way and giving them the confidence they needed. He never put a foot wrong.

H – Honest
Choco was the most honest horse anyone could ever have the privilege of meeting. Choco… well, Choco just knew.

He knew when a rider was anxious, nervous, worried or simply having an off day. He had an incredible way of understanding people without a single word being spoken.

He wasn’t just a confidence giver for our clients—he was my safe place too. I shared so many of my own worries and problems with him while we walked together through the forest, and somehow he always made everything feel that little bit better. Just being with him brought a sense of peace.

O – One of a Kind
Choco truly was one of a kind. His kind heart and forgiving nature made him so incredibly special.

He showed that kindness not only to his riders but also to his best friend, Paddy. The two of them adored each other, even though Paddy always tried to be first at the stable door whenever treats were involved. Like the big brother he was, Choco would simply stand back, let Paddy have his turn, and patiently wait. That was just who he was—gentle, patient and completely selfless.

C – Curious
Choco loved meeting new people and was always curious—especially about what treats they might have brought for him.

With his beautiful big brown eyes and his soft, kissable muzzle, he stole everyone’s heart. Whether it was his favourite carrots that Vanessa faithfully brought every Tuesday from Jones Garden Centre or the Haribo jellies Clare always had for him, Choco accepted every treat with the sweetest expression, as though those beautiful brown eyes were simply saying, “Thank you.”

O – Only If…
If only Choco could have stayed with us forever. 💔

There simply aren’t enough words to describe how truly amazing and incredible Choco was. He wasn’t just a horse—he was a best friend to so many. He was a teacher, a comfort, a confidence giver, and a gentle soul who made everyone around him feel safe and loved.

We are completely heartbroken. The yard will never be the same without him, and neither will our hearts.

Thank you, Choco, for every ride, every cuddle, every quiet walk through the forest, every lesson you taught and every life you touched. Thank you for giving so much of yourself and asking for so little in return.

You will be missed beyond words, loved beyond measure, and remembered forever.

Sleep tight, our handsome gentleman. Run free over the rainbow bridge until we meet again. ❤️🐴
