Sooooo... this is the story of the weirdest thing that happened to me. In June I brought 22 people from Ireland to Baja Sardinia on a retreat and, kind of last minute, organised an outing to a market in the village of San Pantaleo, as I had been told it was nice. I had never been there -- I come from the opposite side of the island.
When the time came to go back to the coach, my friend called me and said I needed to come and see what she was looking at. I said we were going to be late but she insisted so I joined her and ... practically ended up looking at myself in a painting.
I had never met the artist who painted it in my life. Everyone who saw it had the same impression.
It's not just my face. It's my shoulders, my hair, a bikini I used to have (though mine was red) and ... the place where you can usually find me when I'm at the beach (underwater!).
I couldn't believe it but we really had to go and on the bus I kept kicking myself for not even asking the painter where she had got her inspiration.
On the last day of the retreat, lo and behold, the amazing Maria had worked her magic and arranged for the painting to be given to me as a present.
What do you think about this? What's your interpretation?
My favourite is... I was exactly where I was meant to be 💜
