I’ve arrived home now after a rather traumatic experience!
But all your support has got me through 🥰
As this was a difficult procedure having surgery after 10 weeks of injury !
Normally would only operate up to 4 weeks!
Surgery went well they reattached my bicep that was hanging on a thread 🙏
The hospital were great as we were up there every day , getting bandage changed.
Then my whole arm was black and blue and in soo much agony .
They did an ultrasound to see if it was blood clots , thankfully it wasn’t .
I had to inject my stomach everyday to prevent blood clots .
Then stomach was black and blue too .
The physio would come to my hotel room twice a day !
Unfortunately I can’t train , cycle or drive for sometime .
It is quite difficult to only have use of one arm and was not allowed get the arm wet for weeks .
Will have ongoing physio for the next few months and no lifting for months .
I was alone out there , but made lovely friends with the Irish people also getting surgery done !
A lovely lady mags offering to wash my hair and cutting up my food and do my injections for me .
A legend and we’re still in touch, she checked up on me every single day, if I needed anything!
The wheelchair assistance was excellent on both sides !
I’m on the road to recovery and the kindness of strangers 🥰
Thanks to everyone around the world for your support kindness and love ❤️
My phone hasn’t stopped with everyone’s concerns and support , feeling all the love thank you 🙏🥰💪💪 ❤️
