🌟Would you like to feel more confident practising yoga at home?🌟

Over the years, many of you have asked me how to start practising at home with confidence. Whether you would simply like to move because it makes you feel good, you are hoping to build strength, improve flexibility, learn how to release those achy areas or are in recovery - I would love to help.

This summer I have decided to offer a personalised one-to-one package designed to help you create a home practice that feels realistic, enjoyable and sustainable.

1. We meet - we explore your body, your goals, your current practice and your life.
2. I create two 20-30 min personalised practice videos based on what we discover together.
3. You practise for a few weeks, noticing what feels good and what doesn’t.
4. We reconnect to reflect, answer questions and adapt your practice as it evolves.

My plan is not to give you another thing to tick off your list. It is to help you build a toolbox of practices for your body and mind that feels supportive and sustainable, and that you can use in your own time, whenever it is need.

I will be there to guide you, answer questions, and be a sounding board as you discover what works for your body.

Summer introductory price: €145 - Email [email protected] to book!

Innsæi - the Icelandic word for Intuition.

It is one of those words we hear all the time - especially in the yoga world! But what is it really?

For me, it is that quiet knowing that arrives before all the noise. A knowing. A feeling. Often something that you can not put into words. It doesn’t always tell us what is easiest, but it often tells us what feels most true.

The tricky part is that most of us have become much better at listening to our thoughts than listening to our body - ourSelves. Our lives ask us to spend so much time in our heads. We analyse, organise, compare, plan. Somewhere along the way we stop noticing the body, with all it’s feelings and sensations.

Your body never stops talking. Your heart beats around 100,000 times every day. Your lungs expand and soften with every breath. Your muscles, joints and connective tissues are constantly responding to the world around you. Whether you notice it or not, your body is gathering information every moment.

This is where fascia becomes so fascinating. Fascia is the body’s connective tissue network, woven through everything. It is rich with sensory receptors that help us detect pressure, stretch, vibration, movement and balance. Long before we consciously think about what is happening, our nervous system is already receiving information from the body.

This is called interoception (our sense of what is happening inside us) and proprioception (our sense of where we are in space). These senses give us a constant stream of information about how we are responding to the world.

And maybe that’s where intuition begins.

Not as a voice from somewhere outside us, but as a conversation with the body we have forgotten how to listen to. The more time we spend moving with awareness, feeling instead of forcing, noticing instead of judging, the clearer that conversation can become. Learning how to dial into it, listen to it, and most importantly, act on it - your have a compass forming to navigate the world and life’s decisions, anchored from within.

For me, that is what fascia work is really about. Not becoming more flexible. Not chasing perfect movement. But becoming more YOU.

🎵I want you to want me🎵

Not need me - want me. Or my classes, that is 😂

Scrolling social media and listening to all the noise around us, a lot of offerings make it seem like the person holding the space is doing the work TO you.

“Sign up for my yearly membership and I will fix you” kinda thing.

That has never sat right with me.

I am working on my website at the moment, and it is forcing me to look deeper into what it is that I actually do, and why I do it.

🌟I want to meet you where you are at, and help you develop the tools you need to help yourself🌟

I can guide you, but the real work is yours.

And in order to do that, you need to learn how to slow down and be still.

That is what I can offer you. A space where I guide you to do things slowly and be very specific about what you are feeling. Where do I exactly feel this stretch? How does it feel to move like this? How does it feel before and after?

Whether you are stretching, moving or being still, there is always something to feel. Not just tension or pain, but ease, relief, subtlety and everything in between.

And once you get into the rhythm of doing that - because only YOU can truly feel your body - you might go away and keep using the tools you have learned. Beautiful.

Or you might choose to come back.

Maybe you need the commitment and routine. Maybe you want to keep learning. Or maybe you just enjoy being part of the community.

But you do not NEED me to regulate yourself, ease stress or find relief. That has nothing to do with me. That is all YOU.

Now, that probably wont earn me a lot of business 😂

But I am pretty bad at this social media marketing game anyway. I try, I really do - you might have noticed 😂

And as someone who struggles with all the noise, every time I go to add to it, I cringe a little.

But today, this felt like something I genuinely wanted to say.

So there. Said.

And if you got this far, thanks for reading ❤️

Just know - you already know more than you think you do and you have the ability to do the work. Sometimes you just need someone to help you create the space to reconnect and listen for it.

Why am I excited to hold space for Breath and Fascia exploration this Sunday ?

A topic I have been exploring for the last year to help me with problems I experienced after being pregnant and having a c section. Strange aches and pains in my neck and legs for example!

Also, a more personal aligned approach to breathing and regulation than Pranayama exercises, which I have never really resonated with that deeply.

Intrigued? Last chance to sign up through Link in Bio.❤️🙏

I always find that the summer is the time where I need to put that little bit more effort into keeping my practice. With more plans and socialising, more need to be outside and travelling, my practice often is thing that is bumped down the priority list - just when I need it the most.

This year, I want to offer you space for a curated personal and reflective journey on your mat from the comfort of your own home, the hotel room, the garden or the beach.

🌟The antidote to all the activity, the travel stiffness and disconnect to your body: The Summer Unwind🌟

Not a challenge.
Not a transformation programme.
Not another thing to achieve.

But a slower, more supported space to soften, unwind and reconnect with the body through fascia-focused movement, rest, breath and reflection.

An 8-week online journey designed to help you release tension, move with more ease and begin listening more deeply to your body.

Starting June 8th.
🌟Weekly recorded practices
🌟Reflection prompts
🌟Gentle WhatsApp community space a🌟An optional one-to-one support.

Created for athletes, desk workers and busy minds alike - and anyone longing to feel a little more space within themselves this summer.

Your attention matters.

And these days, the noise is everywhere! Your attention has become a commodity - its weight worth in gold.

She says, now asking for it! 🙈

🌟I teach to the sensation in your body🌟

Big random statement. What does that mean?

Your mind is busy all day listening to and processing the conscious and unconscious noise going on around you and within you. Traffic, plans, to do lists, adverts, music, social media, your phone, all those other thoughts...

When you step onto the mat in my class, I bring your attention to how you feel in your body, what you feel in your body and where you feel it in your body.

Why?

Ever heard: “If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?”

Modern fascia research has shown that mindful attention to sensation can change the relationship we have with pain, tension and patterns in the body. In other words, your body and its tissues respond to the attention you give them. Research suggests that considerable improvements are activated when attention is present, while far less change takes place (sometimes none) when a person is distracted.

So if you come to your mat and move and stretch through your practice while thinking about your dinner and your to do list - does the practice really happen for your body?

🌟Your attention is a transformative power🌟

If you are too busy worrying about why your leg or knee won’t go this way or that, or how on earth you will ever look like the professional yogi in the front row doing Dancer Pose, you are missing the opportunity to use your awareness to bring the full benefits of the practice to your body and mind.

It is easier said than done, I know! We are not used to the slow pace, the stillness that is needed to be able to develop the sense of what happens on the inside. How it feels to move the spine. How it feels to move the parts of the body that are connected to the spine. How it feels to be still, after moving the spine and the parts around it. With no other alternative motive, than just to feel what is in the present.
