📢 Upcoming Course Starting Soon!

We’re excited to announce that a new course will be starting shortly!
courses that might be of interest to our ACI community that are happening in County Kilkenny.

River Detective (14 Sept) – A one-day course introducing participants to stream ecology, water quality monitoring, and citizen science.

Angling Course (12 & 26 Sept) – A two-day practical training programme for beginner to intermediate anglers with Bob Seward.

Both are designed to build community capacity around river management and sustainable use of water resources.

IFPAC, in collaboration with Sports Ireland and Cavan Sports Partnership, held Her Outdoors Day on Castle Lake Bailleborough yesterday.
It was a great success with a lot of happy faces catching fish. Special thanks as to be given to Paul Reynolds for organising the barbecue. Eddie Mc Guirk and Ben Reilly for their unwavering support and tremendous help in making this event a success. We plan to hold another event for Mental Health Day on the 20th of September on Castle Lake. All are welcome.🎣🐟

Part 1 of Her Outdoors Week – Boat Fishing.
We had an amazing time out on the Lee Adventurer and the Lee Explorer. Even with the wind, everyone enjoyed the experience of being outdoors on the water, and of course, nothing beats the thrill of landing a fish on the open waters! 🎣
