Tallaght Sessions

We are excited to announce that, going forward, we will be running group training sessions every Sunday in Tallaght!

These sessions are perfect for boys and girls ages 9–18 who are eager to develop their skills and improve their game in a supportive environment with the guidance of our UEFA-licensed coaches.

Each session is expertly planned and delivered by our amazing coaching team, ensuring players receive the best possible experience while continuing to develop their technical ability, game un understanding, and overall performance. Sessions take place on Tallaght Town AFC’s fantastic new astro pitch, giving players access to the best of facilities.

Session Details:

✨ Mia Donovan ✨

Last weekend IFA coach Anthony Kavanagh had the pleasure of taking St. Patrick’s AFC WDL defender Mia Donovan for a 1-2-1 session in which technicality and strength were the focus.

This was an intense session in which Mia worked with coach Anthony on gaining advantages over her opponents. Throughout the session Mia demonstrated a fantastic attitude, strong focus, and a willingness to push herself in every drill.

Mia is an excellent, skilful player who possesses great dedication and commitment to overall improvement. We can’t wait to see what she will achieve in her promising career! 🙌

We would like to take a moment to wish IFA Girls Academy player Clodagh Sweeney the best of luck as she begins her second season with Athlone Town AFC’s U17 squad.

Clodagh is a brilliant winger with an exceptional left foot and we can’t wait to see what she will achieve this season!

We would like to wish IFA Boys Academy player Jack Naylor the very best of luck for this season.

Jack recently returned from playing football in Italy and has signed a professional contract with Mayo FC’s U20s side.

Jack is an exceptionally talented player and we are looking forward to seeing what he will achieve this season!

We would like to take a moment to wish IFA Girls Academy player Simone Riley the best of luck as she continues her career with Bohemian FC’s WU23 side.

Simone is an extremely talented player and recently represented Nigeria in the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia!

We are so proud of all that Simone has achieved and we can’t wait to see where this season will take her!

We would like to wish IFA Boys Academy player Tadhg Connolly the best of luck as he continues this season with Athlone Town AFC.

Tadhg spent last season playing with the club’s U17s side and has recently made the step up to their U20s squad.

We would like to take a moment to wish IFA Girls Academy player Michelle Muddiman the very best of luck for this season with DLR Waves.

Michelle, a Bulgarian international player, is an excellent centre-half and has signed for DLR Waves’ Women’s first team this season.

We have had the pleasure of helping Michelle to develop and we cannot wait to see what this season will bring for her.

✨ Brand New Sessions ✨

We are excited to share that going forward we will be running sessions every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5pm-6pm for boys and girls in Tallaght!

These sessions will be run by our UEFA-licensed coaches and are suitable for players of all abilities with the aim of creating a fun and supportive environment where players can work on their skills with the encouragement and guidance from our expert coaches.

Sessions are organised in a block of four - four sessions taking place every Tuesday or Thursday over four weeks.

TUESDAY SESSIONS:

These sessions are designed for players ages 7-9 and our first session will take place on Tuesday 3rd March.

⏱️ 5pm-6pm
📍 Tallaght Leisure Centre, D24 KX88
💫 Booking fee covers four sessions (3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th)

THURSDAY SESSIONS

These sessions are designed for players ages 10-12 and our first session will take place on Thursday 5th March.

⏱️ 5pm-6pm
📍 Tallaght Leisure Centre, D24 KX88
💫 Booking fee covers four sessions (5th, 12th, 19th, 26th)
