Eglinton Swimming Club

**To the past and current Swimmers, Parents of Swimmers, Coaches and Committee of Eglinton Swimming Club**

It is with sadness that we regret to inform you that as of August 2021, operations at Eglinton Swimming Club will cease. As a club we have not been in operation for the past 18 months due to Covid-19. The years prior to that we have found it hard to consistantly staff our pool bank and committee. As a result, we find it impossible to operate the swimming club.

Part-Memberships and insurance for the 2019-2020 season will be returned to those swimmers who have paid their membership. We will be in touch in due course on this to advise on monies owed.

Established in 1965 by a group of enthusiastic swimmers, ESC has survived 56 years teaching and coaching swimming through fun. Current coaches and committee are a product of the swimming club having learned their basics, and gone on to complete swimming courses through the club. Having held many galas, dunking of coaches, meals with coaches and committee, and other fun events with the club it is with heavy hearts we make this announcement.

We hope anyone who has learned to swim through ESC has enjoyed their time, and anyone still wanting to learn will do so.
