After careful consideration, we have made the decision to close Echo Gym, with our final day being Saturday, 4th April.

Like many small businesses, we’ve faced significant increases in operating costs over the past year and the time has come to close this chapter.

But before we do, we want to fill every last session between now and April 4th with everything that made Echo what it is.
This place was never about the equipment or the four walls. It was about the people who showed up, pushed themselves, and built something real together. That doesn’t disappear when the doors close.

Member of the Month… Ollie 🔥👏

From the very early days of Echo opening its doors, Ollie has shown nothing but consistency and commitment to getting fitter and stronger. He truly leads by example. Every session is logged, tracked and measured, always focused on progress.

Ollie is also one of those people who makes Echo feel like Echo. A familiar and welcoming face in the evening sessions, he’s never once left someone to train on their own and is always quick to make others feel included.

A huge part of the Echo community and a very deserving Member of the Month 👏

8 weeks into pre-season with the Carrigaline Ladies Footballers and the progress we’ve seen has been incredible.

Our pre-season strength & conditioning, led by Coach Aoife, focuses on injury prevention, power, and endurance, all built into every session through movement quality, strength development, and progressive loading.

Players are tested every 4–6 weeks so training is informed, measured, and individualised where needed.

Januarys Member of the Month is Aoife Murphy 💪

Aoife has gone from strength to strength since she first joined us back in 2023, not just in her training, but in her confidence too. She pushes herself week after week to get the most out of every class. Last weekend, she took on her very first HYROX, and absolutely smashed it.

As coaches, it’s incredibly special to watch someone come in as a beginner and grow into such a confident, committed member of our community. Aoife’s journey is a perfect example of what consistency can lead to.
