Doonbeg Football Club alongside Doonbeg Ladies Football Club are proud to present the 2017 Doonbeg 7-a-side Parish League, in aid of Milford Care Centre. On St Stephen's day townlands will go head-to-head with the pride of Doonbeg's ladies and mens teams joining forces in Shanahan McNamara Memorial Park in order to take home the prize for 2017. Rivalries will be established and friendships may be
broken as we see who comes out on top! Games will begin at 12pm with each team playing 3 group games, before semi-finals take place at 2pm,the Shield Final beginning at 2:30pm and the Cup Final at 3pm. Awards and the prize draw will take place in Tubridy's Bar Doonbeg at 6:30pm that evening. Milford Care Centre has been selected as the benefitting charity as they have provided exceptional care to so many people in their time of need, with excellent care and support given to people from our parish in recent times. The Kate Behan Memorial Award for Woman of the Tournament and Pat Blake Memorial Award for Man of the Tournament will also be presented on the day, alongside trophies for both the Cup and Shield winners.
